It’s a pleasure to revisit the life and times of Ruzz ‘Guitar’ Evans this month, a guitarist who proves the phrase ‘the blues had a baby and called it rock’n’roll’. Super-talented as a solo artist, leader of small and big bands and a sideman to other artists, including John Lewis recently, as featured in this magazine.
