Another issue, we hope you’ll agree, is chock-full of every aspect of The Big Beat, exploring music from as far back as it goes to the present day and as wide as our brief allows, from R&B to psycho, with all flavours of rock’n’roll in between. Our (e)mail bag usually contains the odd message of ‘please include less’ of one style or another, but unlike other outlets, we just can’t work a line that excludes stuff so much of you love, so bear with us, and we’ll try to continue to provide something for you all to enjoy. It seems to have worked OK so far, and this issue marks 14 years since I became editor, so thanks for staying for the ride.
